We love it for a lot of reasons, but mostly because it gives a more formal option without the limitations of other sheer fabrics—silk (beautiful but fussy) or synthetic fabrics (generally not great environmentally). The fabric is quite sheer, so there's the option to purchase a slip as well, made with 92% silk and 8% elastic.

These fabrics are delicate and need to be washed with care or dry cleaned. If hand washing use cold water with soap and roll in a dry towel to take out moisture, do not wring. Then hang to dry.
