GENERAL INFORMATION

Where are you located?

Our studio is located in Altadena, California. We also have team members who live in Vancouver, British Columbia and Toronto, Ontario.

What currency do you use in your shop?

All prices are in US Dollar.

How is my order made?

All items are made to order and shipped from our Altadena, CA studio. This means that there is very little manufacturing waste (and no pile of unsold clothing at the end of the season). It also means that we can sometimes make modifications to an item, such as length or fabric (note: all custom/modified items are final sale).

 

SHIPPING, RETURNS & LOCAL PICK-UPS

Do you offer free shipping?

Yes, there is free shipping for orders over $150 within USA and Canada. For the rest of the world there is free shipping over $250. Otherwise, shipping costs are calculated at checkout.

How is my shipping rate calculated?

We use USPS for international orders and UPS for US orders.

Shipping charges are based on weight and the cheapest available rate. They do not include a tracking number outside of the USA and Canada, and do not include insurance for your package. We are not responsible for lost or stolen packages.

If you would like insurance on your shipment and/or a tracking number please email us before purchasing and we will arrange for the incremental cost.

When will my order ship?

We try to ship within 10-15 business days of receiving your order.

We are a small business and all items are made to order so shipping times may depend on our order volume at the time. Please email us if your order is urgent and we will do our best to accommodate!

Will I be charged customs/duties fees on top of what I already pay at checkout?

You may be charged additional customs/duties fees if you live outside of the USA. We cannot control and are not responsible for any customs/duty charges that may be incurred on orders shipping outside of the USA.

Is there a local pick-up option?

We offer free pick-up in Altadena, CA and Vancouver, BC. 

How are orders packaged?

We use compostable packaging (bags and tape!) from the Better Packaging Company (and yes it is really compostable). Be sure to remove any shipping labels before composting.

What is your return policy?

Full-priced items may be returned within 15 days of delivery. If you want to make a return, please contact us before returning your package and we will send you a return label. We provide free returns within the USA but original shipping costs are not refundable.

Your item must be in new condition, not customized and with tags still attached to be eligible for a return. Sale items can be exchanged for store credit only.  

SIZING

How does sizing work?

Our clothing fits true to size unless otherwise noted in the item description. For children’s clothing, if you are in doubt, size up! Children grow and your item will last longer if you buy something for your child to grow into.

GARMENT CARE & REPAIRS

How should I care for my item?

All items should be washed in cold water and hung to dry. This will ensure your clothing lasts longer and the color will fade less (though, depending on the item some fading can be expected).

Exceptions:

  • Wool items should be hand washed and hung to dry or dry cleaned.
  • Indigo dyed denim should be washed with like colors as the natural indigo dye will bleed slightly for the first couple of washes.

How can I extend the life of my garment?

Ensure you wash your item gently and based on the care instructions. We also offer free patching kits, please reach out if you would like us to mail you one.
