This classic skirt has a slim silhouette, and generous pockets. Pairs well with literally everything! Elastic in the back, so the fit is quite flexible, with side zipper.
We are super excited about our fabrics this season! If you're not a fabric nerd feel free to skip this section, but if you delight in (or obsess over) these details read on! First up, we have a new Japanese paper fabric! It's dijon colored and made with 50% organic cotton, 30% paper yarn, and 20% cupro. This is a traditional yarn used in Japan; the fabric is very sturdy but soft and feels quite cool - great for summer months. Cupro is from regenerated waste cotton, and the factory we buy from recycles the chemicals that are used to make this fabric. This fabric is quite expensive, which is why the styles made with it cost more.
Next up we have a 100% cotton Japanese black and white railroad stripe fabric. This fabric feels like a light weight soft denim. Next we also have a silky 100% cotton Japanese waffle weave (similar to seersucker) in green with natural colored dots, this fabric will be back in stock at the end of May and can be preordered. And finally we love a navy with white dots, and this fabric is alternately sheer and solid with white dots, all the while feeling like silk but it is cotton. This fabric is quite expensive, which is reflected by a higher cost.
Pair our Gardenia skirt with a Ginny Top in the same fabric and you will have a lovely set that can go anywhere. The fit is fairly flexible because of the elastic waistband in the back, but generally fits true to size. Meera is a size 2 and is wearing the xsmall.
